About The Position

The Finance and Accounting (F&A) Systems Business Solutions Supervisor manages tasks associated with the daily support and maintenance of the F&A systems. He/She supports internal users across the global and serves as a liaison between users, technical support teams, and developers for system enhancements and production issues. The F&A Systems Supervisor assists in providing system requirements, design input, and managing enhancement testing. He/She will supervise and train specialists within the F&A systems department. The F&A Systems Business Solutions Supervisor also enforces policies and procedures regarding the administration of the application. He/She will conduct user audits in accordance with documented procedures on a quarterly basis. He/She communicates with users to recreate issues within a test environment to obtain detailed results. In this role, the F&A Systems Supervisor provides the IT department with detailed descriptions to reflect system issues reported from the business side.

  • Demonstrates a general understanding of technology used by the company; communicates basic technological concepts and terminology; applies standard technology in daily work
  • Ability to perform data analysis and reconciliations
  • Advance Microsoft Excel skills
  • Intermediate-level SQL query skills for data analysis
  • Knowledge of basic general accounting concepts
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
  • Must be currently in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself.

Responsibilities

  • Performs extensive data analysis using PL/SQL, SQL Standard, MS Excel, and other tools to research and determine the source of errors and troubleshoot issues
  • Tests resolutions in a functional testing environment to determine accuracy and validity before migrating to UAT testing
  • Analyzes records by performing reconciliations and performs data tie outs between applications
  • Reviews and analyzes business requirement requests to determine validity and feasibility
  • Documents and submits business requirements to the IT department
  • Provides internal customer system support
  • Oversees production environment to ensure data continues to flow between applications
  • Designs, develops, and tests new project requirements and system enhancements
