Position Overview: This successful candidate will implement Boeing engineering principles to assess the product and resolve issues at some of our key sub tier partners in Israel. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support the development and implementation of production methodologies and tooling for aircraft parts and assemblies. You will collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes that meet stringent quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 5+ years of related work experience with a Bachelors OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • More than 3 years of mechanical, composite, and/or structure experience in the aviation industry.
  • More than 3 years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and procedures.
  • Experience working with international suppliers.
  • Experience with Legacy Designed methods like 2D blueprints, master set tooling, etc.
  • Ability to obtain a work Visa for Israel.
  • Employer will sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country: Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience with a Bachelors OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • Familiarization with MESci.
  • Experience with Export controls.
  • Experience working with the Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
  • Experience with the F-15 product structure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, plans, and tooling methodologies.
  • Collaborate with IPTs to support the integration of technical solutions and ensure manufacturability of designs with the suppliers.
  • Investigate and resolve technical problems related to many manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in the implementation of Lean principles to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Resolve technical issues that significantly impact performance, cost, or schedule.
  • Conduct root cause corrective action initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers, external customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to align on production and manufacturing goals.
  • Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout all manufacturing processes.
