About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has multiple openings for Air Dominance Manufacturing Managers (Level K) in Berkeley, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and motivate high performing teams of employees on the production line. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
  • 1+ years’ experience working with or supporting military aircraft
  • Ability to work any shift
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Previous knowledge / experience with LEAN
  • Experience with military aircraft maintenance and ramp operations
  • Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
