Program Oversight: Manage and coordinate the district’s health services program, ensuring that all health services are delivered in accordance with district policies and state regulations. Staff Supervision: Supervise and support school nurses, providing guidance, training, and professional development to ensure high standards of care and practice. Health Services Coordination: Oversee the implementation of health services and programs across schools, including immunization requirements, health screenings, and emergency response protocols. Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce health policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Data Management: Monitor and maintain health records and data, including student health histories, medication administration, and incident reports. Health Promotion: Promote and support health and wellness initiatives within the district, including educational programs on health-related topics for students, staff, and families. Emergency Preparedness: Coordinate and oversee health-related emergency preparedness and response plans, ensuring that schools are equipped to handle health emergencies effectively. Collaboration: Work closely with district administration, school staff, and community health organizations to address health issues and promote a healthy school environment. Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on health services activities, program effectiveness, and compliance with district and state regulations to district leadership as required. Resource Provision: Ensure that school nurses have access to necessary medical supplies, equipment, and resources to provide effective care.
