About The Position

This position will aid in the garden development at the ISU Horticulture Center. Specifically, further development of the Literary Garden which was created in 2025. The position will also aid in the tracking of the FRIENDS program. The position will also include the development and installation of certain art works by volunteers and students.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and interpret literary works
• Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
• Remain at workstation for extended periods.
• Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
• Applicants for this position must be authorized to work in the U.S. without ISU sponsorship.
• Sponsorship for work authorization will not be considered for this position.
• All work under this appointment is required to be performed from within the State of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the garden development at the ISU Horticulture Center.
• Further development of the Literary Garden which was created in 2025.
• Aid in the tracking of the FRIENDS program.
• Development and installation of certain art works by volunteers and students.
