About The Position
UA Little Rock is seeking to hire a temporary Extra Help Assistant/Consultant in the School of Physical Science at the Center for Molecular Design and Development to perform the following duties: Update the center's webpage and computer capabilities. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Requirements
- PhD in Information Technology or a closely related field
- Linux Systems experience
- Cybersecurity experience
- Linux operating system operations
- Information Technology knowledge
- Knowledge in Linux's strategy that combines traditional permissions with modern level isolation and administrative policies
- Cybersecurity knowledge
- Ability to communicate both verbally and written
Responsibilities
- Assist the Center for Molecular Design and Development with the center's computer capabilities
- Assist with the webpage for the Center for Molecular Design and Development at UA Little Rock
- Update the Linux computer system used by the Center for Molecular Design and Development at UA Little Rock
