About The Position
The Student Success and Leadership Development Assistant/Professional Mentor will provide developmental support to students, to increase student success & leadership development. The Professional Mentor will provide guidance and mentorship for current UA Little Rock students, as well as partner with the Student Success Center in developing student success initiatives. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be a full-time UA Little Rock faculty/staff employee
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
- Knowledge of the institution's policies and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Responsibilities
- Provide developmental support to students to increase student success & leadership development
- Serve as a mentor and assist students with navigating college life
- Attend at least one (1) Trojan Leadership Fellows program each month
- Present one (1) developmental program for the academic year to the Trojan Leadership Fellows participants
