The Externship Coordinator is instrumental in aligning externship placements with program requirements, compliance standards, and organizational goals. Key highlights of the role include: Strategically recruiting, developing, and monitoring externship sites to meet program demands. Fostering strong partnerships with the medical community to enhance program visibility and secure additional externship opportunities. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards for externship programs. Driving organizational success by achieving the target of 40% of externship sites hiring students post-program completion. Providing mentorship and support to students, ensuring their professional growth through career development initiatives. This role offers a dynamic work environment where collaboration with students, faculty, and external stakeholders is key.
