The Externship Coordinator for the Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) Program is a pivotal role within our academic framework, directly contributing to the professional development and career readiness of our students. Reporting to the Campus President, this position is responsible for establishing and maintaining robust partnerships with medical facilities to ensure the successful placement of students in externship opportunities. The Coordinator is instrumental in aligning externship experiences with program objectives, compliance standards, and student career goals. Key highlights of this role include: Building and sustaining strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations to facilitate externship placements. Ensuring a seamless and compliant externship process that adheres to state, federal, and accreditation standards. Providing direct support to students in their transition from academic learning to practical, hands-on experience. Collaborating with faculty, site supervisors, and Career Services to optimize student outcomes and employment opportunities. Serving as a critical liaison between the institution and the medical community, fostering relationships that enhance program credibility and student success.
