About The Position

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled External Audit Manager to join our dynamic audit team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in external auditing, sound leadership capabilities, and proven experience managing complex engagements. Exposure to government or public sector audits will be a distinct advantage. We trust you to: Execute audit engagements with precision and expertise. Oversee multiple client engagements, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Ensure all engagements are completed within the established time frame and budget, ready for Partner review. Lead and manage teams of 2–4 employees, providing guidance and support. Travel to client sites as required (GA, SC). Clearly communicate the results of audits and findings to those charged with governance. Build and maintain strong relationships with coworkers and clients. Mentor and develop Interns and Staff, providing training to support their career growth. Deliver timely, constructive feedback—both formal and informal—across all levels. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Managing multiple audit client engagements throughout the year.
• Professionalism in the office and at client sites.
• Strong communication skills.
• Preparation of Government Financial Statements.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
• B.A./B.S. in Accounting.
• Public accounting experience.
• Understanding of GAAS, GASB, and GAAP.
• CPA required.

Responsibilities
