About The Position

Ohio State University Extension (OSUE) seeks a temporary Extension Educators Coordinator to work programmatically with county staff and volunteers to support financial and workforce development related educational programming and community engagement in Belmont County, Ohio. The program assistant will work directly with Extension professionals and staff who lead efforts to address community based issues. The program assistant will support Community Development financial and workforce programs which are designed for youth and adult audiences throughout Belmont County. Assist with updating and creating resources, preparing and coordinating booth displays for career fair programs and events, posting related information to social media, and hosting and assisting with community outreach events. The program assistant will also assist with the creation of educational materials, conducting community based programs, and participate in professional and public meetings. Resume and cover letter, specific to the posting, are to be included at time of application, include months and years worked for each employment listed. Position is temporary up to one year.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Certification or vocational training may be required
  • 2 years of relevant experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
