About The Position
Extended Day Kindergarten Support Staff Building Aide-Substitute Mountville Elementary School 2025-2026 School Year Job Summary: Provides services to students and staff that contribute to the creation and maintenance of an orderly, safe school environment and efficient, high quality operations that positively impact the education of children. Provides support to the extended day kindergarten classroom teachers,works with small groups of students to practice reading, writing and math concepts, assists with the supervision of children and transitions that occur during the day, demonstrates a positive attitude and growth mindset, and consistently performs within the role in ways that assist with the improvement of work processes. Additional responsibilities include outdoor arrival and dismissal and recess/lunch duties throughout the year. Position Information: Full-time with benefits Range 9, Starting Salary $12.87 184 days per year, 7 hours per day
Requirements
- Associate's degree, 48 credits of post-secondary education, or equivalent test is required.
- Current PA Criminal History background check
- Current Federal Criminal (FBI) background check
- Current Child Abuse background check

- Previous experience with early childhood students preferred.
