The Express Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services efficiently while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent recommended but not required.
  • At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
  • Valid driver's license with Motor Vehicle Record compliant with company policy.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment exposed to noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
  • Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle tools and controls.
  • Visual abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must operate equipment and move vehicles safely at all times.
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior that supports a cohesive, effective team.
  • Adheres to all company standards, laws, and pricing guidelines.
  • Provides excellent service through efficient, fair, and cost-effective processes.
  • Conducts business professionally and courteously to maintain dealership reputation.
  • Clearly and professionally addresses issues in all situations.
  • Prioritizes and manages time effectively to complete work.
  • Ensures accuracy and thoroughness in work and monitors quality standards.
  • Maintains consistent attendance, follows instructions, and seeks feedback.
  • Observes safety procedures and uses equipment responsibly.

  • Local state inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, filter changes, and multi-point inspections on customer vehicles according to set procedures.
  • Identify and assess any additional vehicle service needs and communicate them promptly.
  • Ensure quality workmanship and notify management of any issues with processes, parts, or procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during servicing and uphold a clean, safe work environment at all times.
  • Adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations consistently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through accurate, timely communication and service.
  • Support fellow employees by sharing knowledge and promoting teamwork.
  • Carry out all job duties assigned by management with a positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Exemplify ethical behavior and maintain high attendance standards.
