About The Position

Gresham Subaru is a rapidly growing dealership that has experienced the largest gain in market share over the past year. They are expanding their Service Department and are looking to add a driven, customer-focused Express Service Advisor to their team. This role is at the front lines of the service experience, serving as the first point of contact for guests in the Express Service lane. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and is dedicated to delivering fast, friendly, and efficient service. The Express Service Advisor will collaborate closely with customers and service technicians to ensure a smooth vehicle service process from check-in to checkout. The company values enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping people. While prior automotive service advising experience is preferred, Gresham Subaru is committed to training the right long-term team member who is eager to grow with the company. Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair services
  • Sales-minded with the ability to recommend maintenance confidently and ethically
  • Comfortable using dealership management software and computer systems
  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Previous automotive service advising experience (Express Lane experience a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers promptly, courteously, and professionally in the Express Service lane.
  • Write repair orders for oil changes, tire rotations, maintenance services, and light repairs.
  • Clearly communicate recommended services and maintenance needs.
  • Keep customers informed on service timelines, costs, and any changes.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and accurate documentation.
  • Drive sales of maintenance services to meet department goals.
  • Ensure every guest leaves with a positive dealership experience.
  • Maintain organized and accurate service records.
