The Express Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing lube, oil, filter, and multi-point service inspections on customer vehicles. This role ensures excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
  • At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) according to company policy.
  • Ability to work in a shop setting with exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
  • Capability to lift up to 100 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to handle tools and equipment.
  • Safe operation of equipment and vehicle movement in the workplace.
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior and teamwork.
  • Adheres to company standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Provides excellent service through efficient and fair processes.
  • Maintains professionalism and avoids conflicts of interest.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally.
  • Prioritizes and manages work efficiently.
  • Ensures accuracy and thoroughness in work.
  • Reliable attendance and responsiveness to management.
  • Follows safety procedures and proper equipment use.

Nice To Haves

  • Local state inspection license preferred.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching as needed.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspection procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify additional vehicle service needs and communicate them to management and customers.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness during servicing.
  • Ensure high-quality service and notify management of any substandard parts or processes.
  • Follow all OSHA and EPA safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Support team members by sharing knowledge and promoting a positive workplace.
  • Demonstrate professional conduct including excellent attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
  • Carry out any additional duties as assigned by management.
