Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company policy.
  • Local state inspection license preferred.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
  • Capability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, talking, hearing, and handling tools or controls.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Use of close, distance, and peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, and filter changes along with thorough multi-point inspections.
  • Accurately diagnose vehicle maintenance needs and communicate any additional recommendations to management.
  • Provide timely and clear communication with customers and team members to ensure high service standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of vehicles during service and keep the work area organized.
  • Follow OSHA and EPA safety regulations consistently.
  • Support teammates by sharing knowledge and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
  • Exhibit honesty, strong work ethic, and professionalism at all times.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and a positive, respectful attitude toward colleagues and customers.
  • Ensure a neat and safe work environment.
