About The Position

-Ensure that shipments and files are efficiently moving through the export process at a face pace -Data input/ logging files. -Coordinating the movement of shipments between origin and destination -Understanding of the transaction and responsibilities , who is the client, who are we billing, who is arranging trucking, who is the carrier , who is arranging delivery at destination, INCOTERMS -Responsible for checking for completed set up documents for the shipper including POA/EAL/SLI contacts etc -Booking, arranging for or confirming cargo space with carriers -Send booking confirmations/work orders and confirm availability -Provide timely responses to clients in regards to delays, additional charges, etc -Arrange trucking, fumigation, etc as needed -Confirm loading appointments, shipments picked up and ingated -Request commercial documents -Monitor group emails daily -Understanding difference between loading ports, discharging ports, destination ports etc -Rate filing once shipments have been confirmed with trucking and or shipper for loading times..in accordance with FMC -Willingness to assist other departments to meet customer requirements

Responsibilities
