About The Position

Ensures SOCS support to EGS operational activities is effective, efficient and on schedule. Serves as primary interface with the EGS Operations team, including the Senior Vehicle Operations Manager and Launch Director. Serves as primary interface with KIOSC personnel for EGS requirements. Ensures system engineering expertise is available to support. LCAT compliance verification. Manages the day-to-day operation of a segment of the organization or functional area of the contract, and may assist in program management responsibilities. Duties and responsibilities include formulating and enforcing work standards, managing daily operations, establishing polices and work rules, monitoring activities, and planning the use of materials and resources. Responsible for personnel productivity, performance, and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or respective field, and 6 years in a lead or supervisor role.
  • The degree may be substituted with the following: A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years experience.
  • Note: This is in addition to the minimum experience requirement.
  • PMP, Certified Facility Manager from IFMA, ICS certifications
  • 15+ years in large infrastructure & technically complex environments.
  • Flight operations experience with assembly, integration, and test.
  • NASA program knowledge.
