SAIC is seeking a Ground Systems Engineer to work on complex projects crucial to our national security objectives. They will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to assist the government in implementing and executing systems engineering processes to integrate ground systems into the operational baseline at a customer facility in Chantilly, Va. Primary responsibilities: Advise and assist the government with the planning, engineering, integration, and O&M activities of ground systems. Analyze and document site system architecture and impacts associated with system updates/deliveries. Collaborate with Headquarters Directorates, site organizations, and mission partners to ensure understanding of project requirements and risks (cost, schedule, technical). Document, develop and deliver analysis, recommendations, plans, reports/briefings to the Government. Develop and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models of ground systems, integrating MBSE tools into a digital thread to connect siloed information systems. Leverage digital twin technologies and modeling and simulation tools to support early-stage risk reduction, operational rehearsal, and system performance verification. Support the development and integration of automated test solutions and continuous improvement in software design and architecture.
