About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Parts Management Specialist (Level 4) – Production Control to join their dynamic team in Berkeley, MO. This position involves performing inventory assessments, optimizing inventory management, and determining resolutions for abnormal parts conditions. The specialist will lead overall parts coordination, status, tracking, and communication, and incorporate change and planning decisions to achieve optimal solutions. Key responsibilities include applying Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure global supply chain coordination, integrating Bills of Material (BOM) changes into production plan schedules, and overseeing on-time delivery. The role also entails documenting and elevating order delinquencies, reporting schedule adherence issues, assisting with and overseeing inventory plans, optimizing inventory levels, and analyzing and dispositioning excess inventories. The specialist will initiate audits, develop and create schedules for products and services, assist in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals, and implement and maintain process improvements for materials management to enhance SCM performance. This position works under general direction and is expected to be 100% onsite in Berkeley, MO. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which U.S. Citizenship is required, and a final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is necessary.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or materials management.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes.
  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years’ experience executing deliverables for both internal/external customers
