About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Parts Management Specialist (Level 4) – Production Control to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or materials management.
3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
3+ years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes.
3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.

Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years’ experience executing deliverables for both internal/external customers

Responsibilities

Performs inventory assessments and optimizes inventory management
Executes regular safety stock inventory management
Determines resolution for abnormal parts condition management
Leads overall parts coordination, status, tracking, and communication
Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
Ensures integration of Bills of Material (BOM) change into production plan schedules
Oversees on-time delivery
Documents and elevates order delinquencies constraints
Reports schedule adherence issues
Assists with and oversees inventory plans
Optimizes inventory levels
Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
Initiates audits
Develops and creates schedules for products and services
Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
Works under general direction
