Experienced Machine Maintenance Mechanic The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems, the ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintenance, a willingness to learn, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the reliability and safety of aerospace assets.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Requires experience in troubleshooting one or more of the following categories: CNC equipment Hydraulic presses Vacuum furnaces X-rays Lasers PLC's/Electrical
  • General knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities preferred.
  • Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with forklifts and moving large equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair and maintain production/manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspect equipment for proper functioning and performs all levels of preventative maintenance duties, per manufacturer's specifications.
  • Diagnose basic and some complex equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments efficiently.
  • Interpret and follow written instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings and documents.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
  • Train others in multiple areas and on a variety of skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with others to identify, schedule, and plan repairs, maintenance activities, and project work.
  • Manage work performed by to ensure compliance with company safety and quality requirements.
  • Works under limited oversight.
  • Source parts for repair and preventative maintenance of equipment
  • Utilize CMMS software
