Requirements

Copies of all required documents to support 8 years or 16,000 (W-2/paystubs) hours working as a maintenance mechanic/journeyman card/apprenticeship certificate
Ability to work any shift and/or shift pattern, including weekends
Documented work history
One year of continuous employment
References upon request

Responsibilities

Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
Troubleshooting – determining causes of operating errors and deciding the resolution
Rebuilding of production machines as needed
Safe use of tools and power equipment needed in the trade
Knowledge of Mechanical Systems, shaft alignment, pneumatics, hydraulics and bearings
Ability to drive and operate cranes, work platforms and other power equipment
Layout and install machinery per blueprints
Weld, fabricate and repair equipment as needed
Perform preventative maintenance as needed
Monitor production machinery/equipment operation to detect problems
Read blueprints, specifications, technical drawings
