As an Expeditor you will be actively calling to expedite and improve delivery on open Purchase Orders. You will pro-actively expedite purchase orders for both stock and customer requirements. Communicating with customers while resolving issues. You will have a direct impact on the bottom line! Requirements

  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills used to establish and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of employees within the organization, as well as customers, vendors, and suppliers regarding the delivery timelines and impact to the business.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, namely Excel, Word, & Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively expedite purchase orders for both stock and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate expected ship dates on open purchase orders and inform sales team of any potential delays to customer orders.
  • Update sales order dates and notes with current shipment information
  • Compile, organize, and report vendor delivery performance to purchasing management and other key organizational stakeholders.
  • Assist with miscellaneous duties and project as assigned by manager.
