About The Position

A leading logistics and international transportation specialist, shipping
freight and household goods between the United States, its territories, and
international locations. The Expeditor/Dispatcher plays an important role by
ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently, and that products or
services are delivered on time and coordinating and optimizing the allocation of
resources, such as vehicles, personnel, or equipment, to meet service
requirements and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Must have a current Driver’s License
• Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office; Outlook, Word, Excel
• Knowledge of basic office equipment; computer, printer/copier, fax, postage machine and phone systems.
• Strict and disciplined organizational skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be able to adapt to sudden changes.
• Must be able to work under pressure and with time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track orders, shipments, and container movements to ensure timely completion and delivery.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and drivers regarding status updates, delays, and changes.
• Identify and resolve issues such as shipment delays, container holds, inspections, and other workflow disruptions.
• Prepare and submit required documentation to CBP and other regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance and proper recordkeeping.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, container activity, clearance times, and operational data.
• Coordinate container arrivals, pickups, and deliveries with dispatch and drivers, including support for port operations and equipment availability.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on operational status, lead times, and performance trends.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce delays, and increase efficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
