About The Position

Jo-Kell, Inc. is seeking an Expeditor with strong communication and time management skills, and a proven ability to meet deadlines. This role is responsible for coordinating with vendors and shipping partners to ensure timely delivery of critical orders. The Expeditor monitors shipments, proactively addresses delays, and communicates updates to internal teams and customers to support on-time delivery performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with computers and standard business software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Confirm receipt of dropship purchase orders with suppliers and verify on-time shipment.
• Monitor order status and follow up on critical or overdue materials.
• Maintain consistent communication with vendors and carriers while shipments are in transit.
• Proactively identify and escalate potential delays to the sales team and relevant stakeholders.
• Communicate delivery status updates to inside sales, outside sales, and customers as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve delivery issues and expedite shipments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
