About The Position
Supervise, manage, grow and develop community exercise classes and programs, as assigned, to address chronic medical conditions through supervised and guided exercises.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in exercise physiology, exercise science or a related discipline.
- BLS (CPR and AED training) required.
- At least one ACSM, ACE, NSCA or similar organization's certification required, and multiple certifications preferred.
- Knowledgeable regarding medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications, contraindications to exercise, healthy lifestyle choices, behavior change, personal training, health coaching, and current trends and knowledge of exercise science and health & wellness topics.
