About The Position

SAIC is currently seeking a Joint Training & Exercise Campaign Analyst to support the USINDOPACOM J75 located at Camp Smith in Honolulu, Hawaii with developing joint training & exercise concepts of support to the USINDOPACOM Joint Training and Exercise Campaign Plan along with associated exercise events. JOB DESCRIPTION: Ensure unified action within USINDOPACOM and with supporting organizations to develop joint training concepts of support to a Joint Training and Exercise Campaign Plan including Field Training Exercises (FTX), Command-Post Exercises (CPX), and training support activities and investments. Support the USINDOPACOM J75 by maintaining a deliberate plan of action with milestones for the Joint Training Plan in addition to production of required orders, briefings, and planning deliverables. Create solutions to complex problems and apply operational art in an uncertain geostrategic security environment to support a training campaign that will support the USINDOPACOM Campaign Plan and the USINDOPACOM Joint Exercise Program (JEP). Ensure coordination with staff and other organizations to include Joint Staff J7 and Service components. Develop, implement, and maintain efficient protocols, processes, and procedures in support of USINDOPACOM J7 representation within headquarters’ planning activities. Support exercise Joint Planning Group meetings and In-Progress Reviews (IPRs) with senior leaders as required. Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to the Joint Training Plan and other related JTEEP policy and guidance. Produce orders or instructions to facilitate guidance for training and exercise planning. International travel up to 10%25 of the year may be required to support the planning, coordination, and execution of the USINDOPACOM JEP.

Requirements

  • Bachelors and ten (10)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I complete; experience on a joint operational/strategic headquarters staff accepted in lieu of JPME Phase I. Completion of JPME Phase II is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Joint Training Exercise and Evaluation Program (JTEEP), Joint Training System (JTS), and associated requirements to plan joint exercises.
  • Proven experience in an analyst role supporting projects with strict timelines.
  • Experience in training and exercise planning with US Armed Services, including joint assignments at the operational/strategic level and working with Allies and Partner countries.
  • Experience in planning and managing complex tasks under compressed time constraints.
  • Candidates must have an active SECRET clearance and be eligible for a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Must be a current US Citizen.

  • Completion of JPME Phase II is preferred.
