About The Position

As a Wellness Coordinator, you will: Conduct orientation programs for all new exercisers Collect baseline information on all exercisers Enter attendance into the tracking system for all exercisers and document outcomes quarterly Instruct a variety of land or water-based group exercise classes emphasizing strength, endurance, balance and flexibility for residents and employees Act as an advocate for health issues and stay abreast of trends in the wellness industry Encourages resident participation in outdoor events, social gatherings and religious activities Participate in Program Planning meetings and help plan, implement and evaluate large campus-wide events Teach fitness classes Wesley on Grand, formerly known as Wesley Acres and located in Des Moines, is a premier senior living community offering exceptional amenities and a full continuum of care.
