About The Position

As the Executive Vice President of Structured Finance and Non-Agency Transaction Management you'll be responsible for all operational aspects of AmeriHome’s non-agency securitization program, securitization transaction management, and related contract negotiations. You'll work closely with the Capital Markets, Corporate Strategy, Finance, Legal, Servicing, Credit Risk Management and related internal teams and work with many external constituencies including broker/dealers, issuer and underwriting counsel, securitization transaction participants, and investors. You’ll bring your strong background in RMBS structured finance transactions to help stand up a new securitization platform at one of the largest and successful mortgage originators in the country. Lead role in standing up a new RMBS shelf and build the infrastructure for a successful securitization and non-agency capital markets program. Lead and manage all aspects of AmeriHome’s non-agency securitization program and related transactions. Manage transaction processes, data flow, and documentation, coordination with counsel and counterparties to ensure terms are accurately reflected and execution is timely. Manage, execute and administer structured finance transactions. Primary relationship management with broker/dealers, rating agencies, and other deal related counterparties. Responsible for all administrative oversight related to transaction counterparties and transaction partners. Monitor and react to mortgage and RMBS market data, review comparable transactions and rating agency feedback to help create strategic decisions. Lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of related experience in Structured Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Investment Banking or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
  • Expert knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including; sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
  • Expert knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Expert knowledge of residential mortgage-backed securitizations.
  • Advanced to expert knowledge of capital market execution strategies and experience in recent RMBS securitization programs.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Occasional travel required.
