About The Position

The Executive Officer Support (EXOS) plays a vital role in supporting the Chief of Staff (CoS) and the client’s Front Office by aiding decision-making processes through strategic planning and executing government-approved administrative operations. This position contributes significantly to maintaining and enhancing the organization's day-to-day functions and operational effectiveness. The role serves as a force-multiplier for the CoS and broader Front Office and involves leading and completing projects at the direction of the Front Office. The EXOS is also responsible for analyzing situations for potential issues and risks, identifying potential solutions, making recommendations, and upon instruction of the Government, executing those solutions. The EXOS plays a critical role in ensuring the long-term health and success of our client leadership and programs.

Requirements

  • An active and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a polygraph.
  • SIX (6) or more years of experience working in a Front Office or executive environment supporting senior leadership with both immediate operational needs and longer-term organizational priorities.
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations, briefings, and decision materials with minimal guidance, tailored for senior audiences and time-sensitive decisions.
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor to Front Office Leadership, exercising discretion, judgment, and situational awareness in dynamic, high-visibility environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex, often ambiguous information from multiple sources and translate it into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Proven effectiveness in building trusted relationships and networks across internal offices and external stakeholders to advance leadership priorities and ensure alignment.
  • Experience directly supporting senior decision-makers in analyzing and resolving business or mission challenges, including weighing risks, tradeoffs, and potential impacts.
  • Experience contributing to the development of office-wide strategies, translating strategic direction into executable plans, and managing related projects through completion.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or business-related field.
  • TEN (10) or more years’ experience working in a Front Office environment supporting day-to-day and long-term tasks and priorities.
  • Prior experience preparing briefings, technical descriptions, overviews, summaries, and associated materials for executive audiences.
  • Projecting management certification, or equivalent training.
  • Experience with modernization efforts that cross functional teams.
  • Prior experience in a Chief of Staff or Action Officer role within the IC.
  • Demonstrated ability to track, work on, and complete multiple taskings at the same time.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency working within Microsoft 365 and with standard Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
