About The Position

A private and professional family is seeking a highly capable Executive Housekeeper/House Manager to support the smooth daily operation of their home. The household consists of three people and maintains a calm, organized environment. The family occasionally hosts guests and values a home that is consistently well maintained and thoughtfully cared for. The ideal candidate is efficient, proactive, and detail oriented, with the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization. A strong sense of pace and productivity is essential with the ability to complete a full scope of work efficiently within scheduled hours. The family is looking for someone who can naturally anticipate household needs, manage tasks with strong time management, and take pride in maintaining a beautiful and well-run home. This role is Monday through Friday, with a minimum guarantee of approximately 30 hours per week. During the summer months, the family may travel periodically and would appreciate a candidate who is comfortable managing the home independently while they are away, ensuring everything remains maintained and ready upon their return. The family values discretion, professionalism, and strong boundaries. They are seeking someone who can blend seamlessly into the home environment while delivering consistently excellent work. The ideal candidate is emotionally steady, self-contained, and maintains a low-profile presence without bringing personal energy or unnecessary conversation into the home.

Requirements

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Highly organized and detail oriented
Efficient with strong time management skills
Self-directed and proactive in identifying household needs
Discreet and respectful of privacy in a private household
Calm, positive, composed, and professional in demeanor
Able to take feedback well and adjust quickly when needed
Someone who takes pride in maintaining a high standard of care within the home
Demonstrates strong time awareness and does not overextend tasks beyond reasonable time frames.
Long term commitment strongly preferred
US work authorization
Experience in high-end homes and with fine furnishings and linens
Laundry and wardrobe experience is required for this role
Experience with service and comfortable interacting with both vendors and guests
Attention to detail and discretion required
Must have a clean and valid driver's license
Must be able to work independently and take initiative

Responsibilities

Full home cleaning and maintenance
Detailed care of kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms, and outdoor spaces
Laundry care including washing, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organization
Closet organization and general household organization projects
Restocking household supplies and groceries and managing inventory of essentials
Maintaining organization of common areas and storage spaces
Preparing the home before and after family travel
Light meal preparation
Running occasional errands
Handling all packages, dry cleaning and vendors at the property
Supporting general household upkeep and presentation
Ensuring the home is guest ready when needed
Maintaining clear communication regarding household priorities and timing of tasks
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring high-impact areas are complete within each workday.
