About The Position

Elim Shores, a Cassia community, is hiring an Executive Director to join our team! As the Executive Director, you’ll oversee daily operations, foster strong relationships with residents, families, and staff, and ensure compliance with housing and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate must hold a current Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) license in Minnesota. A BA degree related to long-term care or housing and knowledge of legal housing requirements are preferred. Requirements

• BA or BS degree in Health, Gerontology or Business Administration required.
• Must be a Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD).
• Understanding of the comprehensive home care rules and regulations.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Nice To Haves

• A BA degree related to long-term care or housing and knowledge of legal housing requirements are preferred.
• Previous experience in business management, emphasis on property management preferred.
• 1-2 years staff supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a senior housing building.
• Display an understanding of confidentiality for resident information and vulnerable adult issues.
• Oversee the facility financial performance.
• Oversee staff development, hiring practices, in-service training sessions, performance feedback, and promote a strong teamwork environment.
• Maintain and manage state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
• Participate in development of strategic long-range plans for the community and our organization.
