About The Position

A growing senior living community is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with LALD licensure to lead clinical services and oversee daily operations. This role is ideal for a leader who is passionate about providing high-quality care, building strong teams, and creating a supportive, resident-centered environment. The RN/LALD works closely with staff, residents, and families to ensure safety, compliance, and overall well-being within the community. The RN/LALD is responsible for overseeing clinical care, regulatory compliance, and operational leadership within the assisted living community. This role ensures that resident care is delivered according to individualized care plans while maintaining a high standard of quality, safety, and service. This position combines hands-on nursing leadership with administrative oversight, supporting both resident care and team performance.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota (in good standing)
  • Current Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) license
  • Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior services
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use electronic documentation systems

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all clinical services within the community
  • Ensure care is delivered according to individualized service plans
  • Monitor resident health status and respond to changes in condition
  • Provide direct nursing support as needed
  • Lead, supervise, and support nursing and caregiving staff
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing staff development

  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies
  • Maintain readiness for surveys and inspections
  • Oversee documentation accuracy and completion

  • Participate in care conferences and service planning

  • Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
  • Monitor incident reporting and follow-up
  • Maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
