About The Position

Overview The Executive Director, Project Management: Manages one or more Global Project Teams in partnership with Project Leader Provides direct support for global R&D and non-R&D activities Partners with VP of Pipeline Value Up to provide financial oversight of R&D budgets Assists VP of Pipeline Value Up on ad-hoc requests received from the CEO and Senior Leadership as needed to support company initiatives Responsibilities Responsibilities include driving alignment, collaboration, accountability and milestone achievement within project team(s ) Fosters strong relationships and supports effective and impactful communications with management, team members and functional line managers in order to ensure active management of issues/risks/decisions/opportunities Assists VP of Pipeline Value Up with fiscal responsibilities to support management of financial aspects of programs including tracking to budget and ensuring effective use of resources throughout the year Communicates to and interacts with SKBP/SKLSI Management to ensure appropriate flow of project information to decision makers in Korea. Ensures that team discussions drive to decision-making, defining and resolving action items, issuing agendas and meeting minutes, and maintaining project document repository to ensure transparency across the team May be requested to provide oversight of the PMO or oversight of PMO initiatives as needed Responsible as a key contact for program team related information and for obtaining and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of the program scope, deliverables, timelines, status and key risks and mitigation strategies SK Life Science Labs Support Manage critical components of specific compound-based projects as assigned Assist Finance team with implementation and maintenance of Purchase Order Management Support organizational budget management, as requested Manage ad-hoc projects as assigned Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree with an Advanced Degree in relevant field strongly preferred; PMI PMP Certification preferred 10-15+ years of Project Management experience. Drug discovery and development knowledge across a broad range of functions and therapeutic areas Knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical quality and regulatory standards requirements Proven track record of project and/or operational support for successful IND, CTA, NDA, and/or BLA regulatory submissions Track record of creating strategies, long-term planning and managing integrated timelines and resources Intellectual agility - able to pivot based on shifting priorities and balance multiple projects seamlessly in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask Adapts to change Maintain composure under pressure Ability to follow verbal or written instructions and use of effective verbal communications Adapts change, adjust change and grasps information quickly Examine and observe details

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with an Advanced Degree in relevant field strongly preferred; PMI PMP Certification preferred
  • 10-15+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Drug discovery and development knowledge across a broad range of functions and therapeutic areas
  • Knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical quality and regulatory standards requirements
  • Proven track record of project and/or operational support for successful IND, CTA, NDA, and/or BLA regulatory submissions
  • Track record of creating strategies, long-term planning and managing integrated timelines and resources
  • Intellectual agility - able to pivot based on shifting priorities and balance multiple projects seamlessly in a fast-paced environment
