About The Position

Organizes the overall strategic planning and fiscal management of for the Cardiovascular Service Line. Coordinates operations for Cardiovascular services across the system working within a dyad leadership model to manage the continuum of care for clinical services and care delivery. Provides guidance to other executives to support strategies unique to Cardiovascular patient care needs. Ensures alignment of hospital-based inpatient and outpatient care, medical practice services, and community/regional population management to create a cohesive Service Line. Drives performance improvement and performance management initiatives for and responsible for facilitation of various Cardiology accreditations and quality programs related to registries. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree (or higher) in appropriate field of study. For example: MBA, MHA, MSN. Experience may be substituted on a two for one basis (meaning bachelor’s and 9 years of experience or Master’s and 5 years of experience leading cardiovascular services across the continuum of care)
  • Five years’ experience in leading the specialty of cardiovascular across a system of care. Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and initiatives across ambulatory and acute care. Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
