The Executive Director, Business Development is a senior leader who will elevate the level of play across the BD team and will be accountable for sophisticated transactions from sourcing through due diligence, negotiation, and close. This will include mentoring team members, leading partner engagement and projects, and building new relationships across the globe and representing Alexion at various meetings and conferences. Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, this role is essential for ensuring the acceleration of innovative medicines to patients globally and improving the value of Alexion’s portfolio through inorganic growth strategies. You will align deal terms to key risks and value inflections and structure multiple agreement types, including acquisitions, in-licensing, out-licensing, and collaborations.
