About The Position

The Executive Director, Affiliated Physician Groups is responsible for the strategic, operational, and financial leadership of the organization’s affiliated physician network. This role oversees the performance, growth, and integration of community-based and affiliated practices, ensuring alignment with system goals, clinical quality standards, and financial objectives. Clinician Supply and Growth of AH Affiliated Physician Groups •    Support the end-to-end clinician acquisition strategy, including recruiting, top-of-funnel supply planning, and longitudinal care workforce development. •    Develop scalable sourcing models to bring high-quality and high performing clinicians to AH Affiliated Groups. •    Define and align long-term recruiting strategies with AH Affiliated Groups’ growth trajectory and evolving client demands. •    Own key performance metrics (KPIs) related to clinician supply, ensuring visibility into funnel performance and recruitment effectiveness. •    Maintain network integrity by maximizing referral development among AH, community physicians and facilities. •    Support and educate physicians about Atlantic Health System programs and services. Practice / Clinician Onboarding •    Oversee and optimize the onboarding experience. •    Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure new clinicians are set up for success through structured training, clinical alignment, and support. •    Partner with Network Development, Credentialing, and Recruitment to maintain a streamlined provider journey from recruitment to activation. •    Implement data-driven insights and automation to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual touchpoints, and scale provider operations effectively. Operational Support for Care Centers •    Ensure MSO meets all Service Level Agreements and coordinate implementation of corrective measures as needed. •    Facilitate consistent operational standards, best practices, and compliance across all care centers while driving efficiency and continuous improvement. •    Serve as an operational resource to care centers. •    Direct coordination with HR to ensure compliance with all requirements regarding care center staff discipline, compensation guidelines and labor laws. •    Provide guidance and oversight to liaisons supporting all care centers, including operational support and performance management.  Engagement, Retention  •    Develop and execute a comprehensive clinician engagement strategy, incorporating both short-term and long-term initiatives. •    Establish structured feedback loops to gather insights from clinicians and continuously refine their experience at AH Affiliated Groups. •    Identify key investment areas to position AH Affiliated Groups as the top choice for clinicians, enhancing retention and clinician satisfaction. •    Partner with clinician leadership to define and implement strategies to reduce turnover, improve clinician responsiveness, and drive sustained engagement.   Sustainability  •    Support physician and practice acquisition, ensuring alignment with group policies and mission while preserving local decision-making. •    Collaborate with care center partners to thoughtfully expand provider capacity and services based on market opportunity, patient demand, and individual care center needs. •    Partner with care centers to evaluate and strengthen existing organizational structures, workflows, and operating models, identifying opportunities for standardization where appropriate while respecting autonomous local operations. •    Educate, engage, and promote to physicians Atlantic Health’s system programs, services, and strategic initiatives to enhance integration, performance, and long-term sustainability
