Executive Communications Senior Director — | Pax8 Location - Denver, CO required – Some work outside normal working hours as dictated by executive travel 🚀 Shape the executive voice of a global cloud marketplace This is a highly senior executive communications leadership role partnering directly with Pax8’s CEO and executive leadership. Requirements

  • Extensive experience (10 to 15 years) in executive communications at the C-Level, corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or related fields within technology or enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated success supporting C‑suite leaders through high‑visibility, high‑stakes engagements including media, keynotes, board interactions, and major industry moments
  • Proven ability to shape corporate narrative and translate complex business strategy into clear, compelling communication
  • Exceptional writing and editorial judgement, with confidence acting as final reviewer on critical executive materials
  • Considerable experience coordinating work across multiple communications disciplines, teams, and senior stakeholders
  • Strong executive presence, discretion, and sound judgement when advising senior leaders
  • Intellectual curiosity about technology, markets, and business transformation, with comfort operating in fast-moving, highly visible environments

Responsibilities

  • CEO narrative and thought leadership Partner closely with the CEO and communications leadership to shape and evolve a clear, credible, and differentiated executive voice. Translate company strategy and market insight into compelling frameworks and stories that reinforce Pax8’s strategic narrative.
  • Executive communications strategy and planning Lead the planning and coordination of executive communications across keynote presentations, major speeches, bylined content, executive social channels, media engagements, analyst briefings, partner and customer moments, and internal leadership communications.
  • Preparation for high‑stakes moments Personally prepare the CEO for Pax8’s most critical internal and external engagements, including industry conferences, media interviews, analyst briefings, board presentations, investor conversations, leadership meetings, and company‑wide events.
  • Board and governance communications Support the CEO with senior‑level preparation for governance and executive communications, including board pre‑reads, presentations, talk tracks, and briefing materials. Ensure narrative alignment between board communications and external messaging, with final editorial review of high‑stakes materials.
  • Voice stewardship and message alignment Act as the steward of the CEO’s voice across all channels. Review and refine executive communications, set editorial standards, ensure alignment with PR and marketing narratives, and prevent message drift across internal and external communications.
  • Cross‑functional coordination Serve as the central coordination point across global communications, strategic content, marketing, PR and analyst relations, events teams, executive leadership, and external agencies. Help prioritise opportunities and focus the CEO’s time and voice where they deliver the greatest impact.
