About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual for the position of Executive Benefits Internal Wholesaler. As part of our dynamic sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our Executive Benefits platform disability and life insurance products. This position requires a deep understanding of product, strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with financial advisors, brokers, and home office partners along with your external wholesalers. Join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our multi-life business! This is not an administrative assistant role rather this is a sales partner position with the external wholesalers. You will Expert Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our products, their features, and their competitive advantages. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions related to our client solutions. Sales Support: Provide sales support to external wholesalers and financial advisors/brokers by assisting with product presentation preparation, and addressing inquiries related to Executive Benefits Assist with sales strategies, case design, and proposal development. Relationship Building: Establish and cultivate strong relationships with financial advisors, brokers, and all key partners. Act as a trusted resource by providing guidance, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional customer service. Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting, our Business Resource Center, Operations, and Marketing, to ensure seamless communication and effective coordination. The role will also require an awareness of product development initiatives as well as enrollment and implementation strategies. Prospecting, Business Development: Identify and prospect potential clients for Executive Benefit solutions. Collaborate with external wholesalers to develop and implement strategic sales plans, targeting specific markets and segments. Sales Tracking and Reporting: Use our systems and other tools to track sales activities, manage quotes, and monitor the progress of sales campaigns. Prepare regular reports and updates for management, highlighting sales performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Work with our account managers to help coordinate key renewal dates and marketplace delivery for our existing customers. Regarding our inforce block of business, the internal wholesaler will assist with communication between account managers, the producer, the client, and the external wholesaler as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proven experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of life products and executive DI solutions, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively serve our key partners, solve problems, and anticipate issues that may negatively impact our key partners and clients.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with financial advisors, brokers, and key partners.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
