Executive Assistant
About The Position
This position is with an Ameriprise Financial Franchise owner, working as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee within a financial advisory practice. The Executive Assistant will play an instrumental role in the smooth operation of a fast-paced and friendly financial planning office. The role involves assisting financial advisor(s) in working with clients to help them achieve their financial goals, consistently following high standards of business and professional ethics, and adhering to legal and regulatory requirements. This position provides high-level client relationship support, including resolving issues and performing other practice management tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Ability to process suitable investment products and services
- Ability to adhere to rules and regulations as stated and required by advisor, Ameriprise Financial
- Ability to support and provide guidance for compliance within the advisor's practice
- 2+ years of similar experience
- Already have or be able to study for and pass exams for federal and state licenses and registrations for securities, including Series 7, Series 66, and State life, accident and health insurance licenses within 120 days of starting

Responsibilities
- Working with the entire franchise to conduct transactions on behalf of clients
- Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested, as it relates to servicing their accounts
- Work with advisors and clients within the Mankato location to schedule meetings/calls/virtual meetings and possibly prepare items for the appointments
- Provide support to other practice members as needed
