About The Position

ERC is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support the CEO. This role is ideal for someone who excels at managing details, anticipating needs, and keeping fast‑moving environments running smoothly. You will serve as a strategic partner—managing complex calendars, coordinating board and committee activities, preparing materials, supporting special projects, and ensuring seamless communication across the organization. The successful candidate is detail‑oriented, adaptable, discreet, and skilled at managing multiple priorities. You’ll support both the CEO and the Board, helping drive efficiency, alignment, and timely follow‑through.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative support experience, preferably with senior leadership
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • High sensitivity to confidential information
  • Proven discretion and professionalism
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Schedule flexibility for after‑hours events and time‑sensitive requests
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • At least an intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel)
  • Must pass an extensive background check.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must meet minimum licensure annual training requirements. This role includes licensure requirements for Administrators, Health & Safety, and HIPPA training.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two or more years in an administrative support role
  • Knowledge of programs and services for individuals with disabilities
  • Experience working in nonprofit organizations

Responsibilities

  • Support the CEO in planning and coordinating board, committee, and ad hoc meetings
  • Prepare and distribute agendas, supporting documents, and required postings
  • Conduct research to support executive decision‑making
  • Maintain board records, rosters, terms, memberships, ethics documents, and applications
  • Manage the CEO’s calendar and ensure scheduling aligns with priorities
  • Support and track progress on special projects
  • Coordinate facility tours for internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare packets, briefings, and event materials
  • Order and manage administrative supplies
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Office of the CEO to ensure efficient, professional, and seamless operations.
