About The Position

American Welding & Gas is thrilled to announce an immediate opening for a dynamic Executive Assistant in the Raleigh Area!! The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to senior leadership at American Welding & Gas (AWG). This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The Executive Assistant serves as a key partner to executives, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, seamless communication, and effective coordination across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives (VP level or above preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in corporate environments
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or business operations tools
  • Project coordination or project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling meetings, travel, and appointments with precision
  • Prepare, edit, and organize correspondence, presentations, and reports
  • Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders
  • Prioritize and manage incoming communications, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, town halls, and strategic planning sessions
  • Prepare agendas, take detailed notes, and track action items to completion
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation systems
  • Process expense reports, invoices, and travel arrangements
  • Assist with onboarding coordination for leadership roles
  • Ensure smooth office operations and executive readiness
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Communicate professionally on behalf of executives
  • Anticipate needs and proactively address challenges
