Veterinary Practice Partners (VPP) is an industry-leading service company that partners with Veterinarians to co-own and manage their veterinary practices. VPP provides support and leadership for marketing, financial, operations, IT and human resources functions while the veterinarian leads the clinical and client services functions. VPP currently has 170+ partner hospitals with 3,000+ employees and continues to experience tremendous growth. VPP is a dynamic, profitable growth company with strong financial backing from a private equity firm. The Executive Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day administrative support of the senior leadership team, onsite management of the new Waltham MA office, and other projects, as assigned. VPP is looking for someone with the skills and ambition to grow with the company and the new Waltham office as they experience continued growth. The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner to the senior leadership team, but work directly with the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Will also help other leaders as capacity allows to optimize efficiency by managing administrative tasks, coordinating key projects, and maintaining confidentiality in all matters. The Executive Assistant must be proactive, detail-oriented and collaborative with a positive, can-do approach to challenges. This position calls for a self-directed professional who can operate with minimal oversight, think several steps ahead, and proactively remove obstacles before they impact the executive team's time or the organization's priorities.
