About The Position

AI is transforming how every company operates, but most enterprises are stuck. They want to move fast with AI agents, tools, and workflows, but they can't do it safely. We're fixing that.
Our team built AI Actions for OpenAI, shipped Zapier Agents to millions of users, and launched the first remote MCP server with Anthropic. The co-creator of MCP is on our cap table. We helped establish the protocol, and now we're building the platform enterprises need to actually use it.
Runlayer is one platform for MCPs, Skills, and Agents. Purpose-built security, fine-grained governance, and complete observability so organizations can push AI forward across the entire company without the risk. We raised $11M from Khosla Ventures and Felicis, and customers include Gusto, Instacart, and Opendoor.

As our Executive Assistant, you'll support two co-founders (Andy in NYC, Tal in LA) who move fast and expect you to keep up. You'll own calendar, email, travel, operations, and light office management for a team that runs on AI.

Requirements

• AI fluency is non-negotiable. You must use Claude (not just ChatGPT), understand MCPs, and be comfortable with Claude Code and Cowork. There's a take-home exam.
• Strong backbone. You have to push back on us, be aggressive, and not defer. If you're going to be polite and wait for direction, this won't work.
• High EQ and social ability. Read the room, prioritize, sift through information.
• "Missile" mentality. We set you on a target, you accomplish it. Make your own momentum.
• Strong communication skills. Polite but direct. Entertaining.
• Attention to what matters. You don't need to care about every admin detail, but you can't drop balls.

Responsibilities

• Own calendar management for two co-founders who double-book themselves constantly
• Manage email triage and follow-ups with full inbox access
• Coordinate travel (we use Navan) and light personal scheduling (calendars, coverage)
• Execute on high-urgency operations including sensitive legal and financial tasks
• Handle light office management for our SoHo office
• Use Claude, MCPs, and AI tools daily for everything, including scheduling, research, and document work
