Metropolis is seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to join the CEO Office, supporting the CEO and partnering closely with senior leaders. You are an experienced executive assistant who thrives in fast-paced, high-expectation environments and brings a strong sense of ownership to your work. You anticipate needs, manage complexity with ease, and operate with exceptional discretion and judgment. You are energized by being at the center of the business, comfortable with shifting priorities, and take pride in keeping leaders focused, prepared, and moving forward.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably founders or C-suite leaders in a high-growth or fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in office 4 days per week in our SoHo office
  • Flexibility to match CEO in-office hours when in NYC (one week per month), including starts as early as 7:30am
  • Available by phone 24/7, with self-imposed boundaries to ensure work-life balance
  • Ability to travel occasionally

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of the CEO Office and Chief of Staff to ensure the CEO's schedule and tasks are efficiently managed
  • Schedule heavy flow of meetings and arrange worldwide air and ground transportation
  • Prepare meeting materials and oversee daily management of printed materials for the CEO regardless of location; Keep CEO on schedule and prepared for meetings
  • Coordinate the CEO's meals in NYC and when traveling
  • Handle business-related gift-giving
  • Manage the CEO's LinkedIn presence
  • Monitor and act on multiple communication channels simultaneously including email, text, Signal, Slack, and Asana
  • Manage all team events owned by the CEO office, including Monthly ELT Offsites, in person MBRS, Board Meetings, Impact offsites, Annual Dinner in CT, among others
  • Coordinate logistics and communication for all event attendees
  • Occasional travel required to manage events on site, as needed
