About The Position

ARC Power is on a mission to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy to people and businesses across sub-Saharan Africa. We are seeking an Executive Assistant (EA) to provide high-quality, proactive administrative and coordination support to our CEO, enabling effective leadership across our global activities. ARC Power is a fast-growing renewable-energy company connecting people and businesses across sub-Saharan Africa to affordable, clean, and reliable electricity. We design, build, and operate distributed generation, storage, and grid systems that enable economic growth while advancing our mission of universal access to sustainable energy. This role is central to ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the CEO’s office, enabling effective prioritisation and communication. You will report directly to the CEO and interface regularly with the Senior Leadership Team and high-level external stakeholders, including governments, utilities, investors, and development partners. You will manage complex logistics across multiple time zones and provide the briefing materials necessary for the CEO to operate confidently across multiple geographies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar senior role supporting a C-suite executive.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to distill complex information into clear briefing materials.
  • Confidence working across different cultures and geographies, particularly in international or emerging market contexts.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Boards or investor-facing activity (desirable).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to sub-Saharan Africa or other global locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive diary and correspondence management, ensuring appropriate prioritisation and professional stakeholder access to the CEO.
  • Prepare high-quality briefing packs, agendas, and presentations for internal and external engagements.
  • Track actions and decisions from meetings, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely follow-through and completion.
  • Coordinate international travel and logistics, specifically supporting activity across our core markets in sub-Saharan Africa and our UK headquarters.
  • Support the Office of the CEO by assisting with Board and Shareholder-related activity and managing ad-hoc strategic projects.
