About The Position

As an Executive Assistant II -- Special Projects, you will provide dynamic, proactive support on a variety of strategic projects and initiatives. This role will report to VP of Communications and support SNC’s Chairwoman of the Board (COB) to drive priority projects forward to successful and effective completion. This role is responsible for working closely with SNC’s executive team as well as a variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver key strategic initiatives and provide executive-level support and communications. This includes market research, business plan development, presentation development and talking points and more. In collaboration with SNC’s Washington DC Office, this role will also provide executive-level administrative support in alignment with various legislative initiatives and key business meetings. This role is responsible for driving results and solving problems. You must be a self-starter and independent thinker to turn visionary ideas into reality with detailed project plans and timelines. This role requires exceptional analytical and communication skills to synthesize information into succinct materials for the appropriate audiences. This person will also provide back-up administrative support for the Executive Office as needed. As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Requirements

  • B.A. (or equivalent degree) and 3 years of relevant work experience, or H.S. Diploma and 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint is required.
  • Must be extremely dynamic, demonstrate initiative, and have the ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficient communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to interpret the intent of available guidelines and use considerable judgment in applying them to individual situations.
  • Must be able to solve a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, and contribute to projects and goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a DOD environment and familiarity with JTR and FCG
  • Experience with Concur Travel and Expense platform or other travel management system
  • Proven interpersonal communication skills with personnel at all levels internal and external to the organization, including foreign and military officials
  • Experience in executive-level project management, stakeholder engagement, and communications, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Intellectual curiosity; the ability to drive things forward with little to no direction
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional organization and prioritization skills; operates with a sense of urgency
  • Strong project management experience; ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter and independent thinker with exceptional communication skills
  • Extremely trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive information or situations with superb discretion

Responsibilities

  • Directly support special initiatives for the Chairwoman of the Board including project management, research, business plan development, presentation materials, SharePoint management, talking points, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with the Washington, D.C. Office to support legislative initiatives and meetings for the Chairwoman of the Board and CEO.
  • Ensure Chairwoman of the Board is prepared for VIP meetings and events through coordinated efforts to prepare VIP event briefs.
  • Provide back up admin support for the Executive Office as needed
