About The Position

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some college coursework preferred, or executive administrative office experience. 2. Minimum of five (5) years of administrative assistant experience, with at least three (3) years in a public education setting preferred. 3. Advanced proficiency in Google Suite (Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides etc.), calendar management tools, and district systems such as eFinance, eSchoolPlus, AESOP, and Applicant Tracking System. 4. Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, including the ability to draft professional correspondence, reports, and presentations. 5. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. 6. Proven ability to manage complex schedules, coordinate high-level projects, and facilitate effective communication across departments. 7. Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity. 8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills. 9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with district and school personnel, parents, and community stakeholders. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 250 days SALARY/PAYGRADE: $49,363 – CP8 Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to Elementary Assistant Superintendents, including calendar management, scheduling, and meeting coordination. 2. Place, receive, and direct telephone calls to appropriate personnel. 3. Draft, edit, and prepare professional correspondence, reports, and presentations. 4. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of district policies, procedures, and best practices. 5. Utilize Google Sheets to manage and analyze data, including the use of formulas, tables, and charts. 6. Assist in department budget reconciliation. 7. Coordinate and manage preparation for special projects/meetings. 8. Maintain confidential employee records and ensure compliance with data privacy standards. 9. Maintain effective working relationships with district personnel, campus staff, parents, and the public. 10. Provide assistance in scheduling and preparing for principal goal-setting and evaluation conferences. 11. Handle sensitive information with discretion and uphold a high standard of confidentiality. 12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendents of School Leadership. WORKING CONDITIONS: Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.
