About The Position

The Executive Administrative Coordinator of Student Development supports the mission of our school by providing high-level administrative, organizational, and programmatic support to the Vice President of Student Development (VPSD), serving as a key partner in advancing student leadership initiatives. This position blends executive assistant duties with active involvement in leadership programming, student development, event planning, and relationship-building with students, parents, and community partners. The Coordinator will report to the Vice President of Student Development.

  • Must have a high level of discernment and wisdom, and the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google.
  • Must be a proactive problem-solver, highly organized, and able to balance a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with the President and Board’s expectations, established school policies and procedures, and the school mission and core values.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and relational skills and the ability to adapt to new technology.
  • Uses acceptable English in written and oral communication.
  • Speaks with clear articulation.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred and at least 3-5 years of experience in this field.

Responsibilities

  • Seeks to model in speech, actions, and attitude, a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ.
  • Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information where judgment and discretion are essential by maintaining absolute confidentiality.
  • Support and assist the VP of Student Development in the administration of his/her duties that may include written correspondence, calendar management, filing, photocopying, emailing, credit card reconciliation and other general accepted office duties.
  • Schedule appointments for the VP of Student Development and manage his/her calendar by providing direction using independent judgment to determine prioritization.
  • Oversee budgeting and expenses related to events and programs and manage credit card and reconciliations for the Vice President of Student Development.
  • Assist in the continual process of website updates and the creation of printed materials as it relates to the Lion Leadership Academy and SLU and manage all administrative support for these projects.
  • Implement and execute special projects as assigned in the planning and support of events that may include but not limited to Chapel, Back to School Orientation, New Family Night, Night of Prayer and Praise, Celebrate Life Student Conference, High School Retreat, Student Leadership University, and Lion Leadership Academy.
  • Plan and oversee five student trips (three international); handling logistics, itineraries, and a $400,000+ travel budget for over 170 families.
  • Collect payments, information needed to ticket and adhere to Airline deadlines.
  • Meet regularly with students to support portfolio development, resume writing, and ongoing mentorship to nurture personal and leadership growth.
  • Follow up on deadlines and check progress throughout the year (approximately 150 students per year).
  • Organize workshops and training sessions to enhance student leadership skills.
  • Organize and implement the C-Suite Leadership Initiative by coordinating mock interviews between 15–25 C-level executives and Faith’s 301 Lion Leadership students; fostering opportunities for mentorship, internships, and job placements.
  • Guide individual student leadership committees and support their projects and events.
  • Assist students in planning and executing various leadership trips and initiatives.
  • Create and manage (3) Lion Leadership Google Classrooms.
  • Assist VPSD with Lion Leadership Website that outlines all requirements and expectations for student participation, including portfolio prerequisites, key meeting dates, and details for each leadership trip. This site serves as a central hub of information.
  • Continually build trust and strong relationships with both parents and students to help move our school’s mission forward and encourage spiritual growth.
  • Assist with Parent Pulse: develop and execute parent, student, and staff surveys.
  • Maintain and uphold the religious standards of Faith Christian School to include the Lifestyle Statement, Staff Covenant and Statement of Faith.
  • Responsible to disciple, instruct and actively pray for the students on our campus.
  • Responsible to reinforce a Biblical Worldview in every workplace interaction with both students, staff and faculty.
  • Other duties as assigned that are closely related to this position.
